Last Thursday, 23rd of November; 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders enjoyed the play "Treasure Island".
The story was about Jenny, a brave young woman who lives in a tavern. She has the treasure map that Billy Bones stole from Blind Pew and, with the help of Doctor Liveley and the Castaway Ben Gunn, she will find the treasure. But she needs to be careful! The Captain of La Hispaniola, Long John Silver, will not make it easy for her... He also wants the treasure for himself!
Students participated in the play by singing the songs, answering questions and, for some minutes, they even became sailors and pirates!
At the end of the play students and actors had a chat and they could ask and answer questions.
We had lots of fun!
